Kate
Wilkey has spent the last 15 years doing image-related work - 8
years in desktop publishing and in more recent years, photo editing
and preparing images for the web. This included scanning from slides,
and correcting colour balance, contrast and brightness. More recently,
she has spent time creating photo montages and doing more photo
restoration work.
She
is a member of a Photoshop forum which sets weekly photomontage
challenges, providing a starting image and inviting forum users
to manipulate it in various ways.
She lives in Bath and, in addition to digital imaging, she is desperately
trying to learn Welsh in preparation for her move to that fine principality.
